ARRIVAL TIME: You will be notified of arrival time. If you have not been contacted by noon the day prior to surgery, please call 859-810-8471.
To help us meet all of your needs, please follow these guidelines:
- Please bathe or shower with antibacterial soap and shampoo prior to your surgery. Remove all makeup and do not use lotions or oils after bathing. Avoid use of deodorant for breast surgery.
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing such as sweat suits, and easy-to-button shirts or blouses that are big enough to accommodate a large bandage after surgery.
- Wear comfortable shoes. No high heels or sandals, please. •Leave all valuables, including jewelry and cash, at home. We cannot be responsible for damaged or lost property. •Bring all your medications or a list of your medications with you on the day of surgery, both prescription and non-prescription.
- Bring all insurance cards and your drivers license with you to the center.
- Be prepared to sign a form giving your consent for the procedure. If the patient is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must accompany the patient and sign the consent. Anyone giving consent for surgery other than the patient or parent must bring a copy of the court order or power of attorney giving permission for them to consent to the planned procedure.
- If you have a living will or advance directive, please bring a copy to the facility. If an adverse event occurs during your stay, based on the reasons of conscience, all reasonable efforts will be taken to revive you, including resuscitative or other stabilizing measures.
- To ensure the comfort of all patients, visitors, and guests, we ask that no more than two people accompany you to the facility.
- We request families remain at the facility or within a 30-minute drive of the facility.
